Start the day at the Studio....

Your day will start out in the Studio with Coffee, Tea and Fresh Scones...Enjoy a creative experience for 3 hours...

Then for the rest of the day...

Visit Woodland Hill Winery, http://www.woodlandhillwinery.com/ ,taste some local wine made from local grapes, rhubarb and strawberries.  They are very good! The winery is on your way to Delano just a mile and a half from the Stortz Farm.

Then how about some lunch, head into Delano and lunch at The Three Crows, visit my long time friend Gina Coburn, http://www.thethreecrows.com/. This is Stevie and my favorite coffee shop and a place to listen to great music on Thursday's and Saturday's.

On your way out of town visit Peterson's Produce and visit Jean and Al.  Pick up some fresh produce and/or flowers, it's on Highway 12 just East of Delano on the North side of the road...

And then stop and visit my new friend Kathie, as you are heading out of Delano check out Kathie's Finds http://www.kmeadesigns.com/ she recently opened a cool shop with home accessories, gift baskets, antiques and more!

Nicho's are seen in Mexico and South America where they are used as an altar for a religious icon.  They are like a small shadow box which has a stage-like quality where you create an environment that describes an event of some significance, it can be a memorial or whatever your imagination can create.
